WGEO at COP30

Overview
The 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP30) is set to take place in November 2025 in Belém, Brazil. This summit, organized by the United Nations, aims to gather diplomats, heads of state, and climate advocates to advance the global response to climate change. COP30 will mark the seventh COP for WGEO and our fifth participation as an accredited NGO.
At COP29, WGEO, in collaboration with other public and private partners, hosted a Pavilion in the Blue Zone which attracted over 1,500 participants who engaged in 50 panel discussions featuring 220 speakers from more than 150 organizations.

WGEO Expected Activities
WGEO’s Pavilion will host a dynamic program of high- level panels, expert roundtables, and networking sessionsfocused on advancing green economy solutions, climate finance, and just transitions.
It will also serve as a platform to showcase impactfulprojects, launch new initiatives, and foster strategicpartnerships with governments, private sector actors, andinternational organizations.
